UAVE, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Engine, is the development of a new Otto-cycle aeronautical Internal Combustion Engine for UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles), both fixed-wing and rotary-wing. It has high power to weight reduced by 40% compared to similar Otto-cycle engines.
Robby Moto Engineering enters with the innovative UAVE engine in the fervent market of unmanned aircrafts. The lightness was achieved with a careful design with CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) tools that allowed for the creation of a lightweight, but at the same time robust, structure. Thanks to the careful use of low specific weight materials such as aluminum and thermoplastics, the overall weight of the engine has been further reduced.
The UAVE high thermodynamic efficiency was achieved with the use of the most modern engine technologies, combined with a careful design of the combustion chamber, valves and intake/exhaust ports through CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamic).
