The Avio division was founded in 2006 with a double awareness matured over the years:

» the great passion for flying, cultivated by the technician Roberto Papetti, VDS pilot and parachutist
» the desire to lavish attention on something which rightly could be considered the heart of an aircraft, the motor, one’s own innovative ideas elaborated following a profound knowledge of motors developed and refined within the precincts of motocycling competitions on a world level in the role of a motor trainer and a technologic partner of teams.

All this could be realized by making out a unit, specially thought of, designed and built for aeronautic use. In this way, the RmE RAP 2.5 A was founded.
The RAP 2.5 A is the first industrializable result of a modular project that provides the making out of a family of aeronautic motors especially designed, able to satisfy the different needs of light aviation. The technicians of AD have known how to make out this propeller axle unit, simple from the building point of view (the motor is composed of around 25% of components less in respect of other units), carrying out performances which are of absolute reference, technologically evolved (integrated system of feeding and electronic starting up, completely crammed, optimization of the lubricating functionality, optimization of the thermofluid dynamics, optimization of consumptions). All this with buying and maintenance costs being very economic taking into consideration the needs of the installers and users.
This model just like others of the same type are prepared and tested at the Casalmaggiore factory.

The unit can be personalized according to the needs of the installer whether for the push or pull configuration as well as for the type of flange with which it is equipped, available in different shapes for a simple coupling to the engine mounting provided for by the builder of the aircraft.

The engineering department interfacing with the UT of the installers on the basis of the project modularity could propose specific preparations evaluating even jointly the customer’s demands.
The Avio Division disposes of the runway ALI DEL PO situated in Sissa (PR) which is only a few kilometres distance from the factory.
